KMAC's Projects & Activities
* Spring 2010 - Thanks to the cooperation with Toronto's "Clean and Beautiful Initiative" and to a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, KMAC has given the corner of Augusta & College an outstanding makeover. See above its current picture.
* Spring 2010 - The plants at the corner of Augusta & College planters have been complemented and are being cared for by volunteers.
* Spring 2010 - Thanks to a "Live Green" grant obtained under KMAC's sponsorship, Sonia's Parkette has been re-landscaped with a garden of decorative and edible plants by a group of eager volunteers.
* Summer 2009 - Kensingtom merchants and residents volunteer their time to clean up massive amounts of garbage during the strike. See pictures here. Please send any photos or text updates of garbage volunteers working to keep Kensington clean, and we will be happy to post them here.
* Summer 2008 - Sonya's Park on Oxford St. now has annual flowers growing. Almost $1000.00 worth of bulbs were planted there last fall and upgrades and maintenance are continuing.
